I. Performance and Characteristics of Machine Tool

This machine tool is a four-axis CNC centerless grinding machine, which is mainly used for cutting-in grinding of stepped rotary parts and pass-through grinding of cylindrical parts. Precision grinding of stepped rotary parts and automatic trimming of grinding wheels can be completed at one time.

II. Structural Description of Machine Tool
1. The machine tool is fixed with a grinding wheel frame, and moves through the guide wheel frame;
2. The body of machine tool is integrally casted by cast iron, with good thermal stability and rigidity;
3. The V flat guide surface of the worktable adopts imported plastic-coated materials so as to improve the wear resistance of the guide rail and reduce the friction resistance during the movement of the guide rail;
4. The main feeding of this machine tool uses servo motor to drive ball screw transmission, with high positioning accuracy;
5. The grinding wheel’s trimming machine is a double servo mechanism. Both X and Y axes are driven by servo motors to drive ball screw transmission. Profiling interpolation can be realized;
6. The guide wheel’s trimming machine is a single servo mechanism, the Y axis is driven by a servo motor to drive a ball screw transmission, and the X axis is fed manually;
7. The guide wheel frame is of double support structure, and guide wheel’s spindle bearing bush is an integral 1:30 conical sliding bearing; and the support end adopts an integral sliding bearing, which is lubricated and cooled by active oil.
8. The speed of guide wheel is regulated by AC frequency conversion stepless speed regulation, which can be adjusted arbitrarily within the range of 10r/min ~ 200r/min;
9. The grinding wheel is of cantilevered structure. The spindle of the grinding wheel adopts multi-piece long bearing bush dynamic-pressure oil film bearings;
10. The spindle of grinding wheel spindle is lubricated by using independent lubricating oil tank, and equipped with oil cut-off protection function.

III. Lubrication system: the machine tool adopts a central lubrication system. After starting the machine tool, the lubrication system works before other actions, to ensure reliable lubrication of the worktable and feeding mechanism’s moving parts, such as guide rails, and lead screws.

IV. Cooling system: the cooling system of the machine tool adopts magnetic separation and filtration system to meet the requirement of sufficient cooling for workpieces and prolong the service life of cooling liquid. The flow rate and direction of nozzles used for workpieces cooling on the machine tool can be adjusted.

V. Electrical System
1. The numerical control system of this machine tool can adopt Siemens or domestic numerical control system according to user's requirements. It can control multi-axis linkage, with interpolation function;
2. It is equipped with a 10.4 inch display, the input of dimension value, grinding wheel’s trimming value and grinding parameters can be conveniently and quickly realized through Chinese display. The setting is simple without complicated programming, with the functions of fault alarm, self-diagnosis, etc;
3. The machine tool is equipped with a hand-held unit, which can select axes and multiplying power for easy adjustment and tool setting;
4. Paste warning signs indicating equipment operating procedures in eye-catching position (using waterproof materials). Man-machine environment is good, equipped with three color warning lights;
5. AC servo semi-closed loop control is adopted for machine tool’s worktable and feeding control;
6. The machine tool is equipped with an independent electric box and a special air conditioner/heat exchanger for the cooling and dehumidification of electrical components.
